Report: Japan's Isuzu considers leaving Russia
TOKYO, Nov 9 (PRIME) -- Japan's car maker Isuzu Motors is considering leaving Russia, newswire Kyodo reported on Wednesday.
The company presented a forecast including millions of U.S. dollars in losses from activities in Russia until 2024 at a press conference. Since the prospects of restart of the activities in the country are unclear, the company is considering all prospects, including leaving Russia.
Newspaper Yomiuri reported earlier that Isuzu was considering stopping truck production in Russia because of troubles with component procurement. In October, a company representative told PRIME that Isuzu was studying scenarios of keeping the Russian business.
